If you want to know how to get more actions on Crowdtap, these are the 10 things I do. I’ve redeemed 71 Crowdtap gift cards, $355 in total. In my best months, I earned 6 gift cards a month, which is about 200 points a day.
Crowdtap doesn’t show you everything at once. You see a few tiles, and more show up as you finish them. Your profile and your device decide the rest. Here’s exactly what I do.

Why You’re Not Getting Actions on Crowdtap
Crowdtap’s terms say actions are offered based on your demographics, your past performance and scores Crowdtap keeps on you. If your profile is incomplete, or you only use one device, you’re missing actions.
How to Get More Actions on Crowdtap: 10 Tips
1. Complete your profile to 100%
This is the most important tip. Your profile decides which actions you’re matched to. Mine is 100% complete:

2. Update your profile when your life changes
You can only update your profile every 3 months, so make each update count. When I graduated, I changed my education level to Bachelor’s Degree:

3. Use both the app and the website
Some tiles only show up on the app, and some only on the website. If you only use one, you’re missing actions.
4. Do most of your actions on the phone app
On every other study platform, I work only on my laptop. Crowdtap is the opposite. The tile system works much better on a phone, so I did most of my actions in the Crowdtap app, then checked the website for the web-only tiles.
5. Log in every day and clear every tile
New tiles show up after you finish the ones on your screen. In my 6-gift-card months, I logged in every day and did every tile. That’s how I hit about 6,000 points a month.
6. Finish your In Progress actions
If you start an action and don’t finish it, it waits in In Progress. You only earn points for actions you fully complete, so clear this tab:

7. Turn on SMS notifications
Go to Settings, then Notifications:

Then turn on text alerts for “High value opportunities and gift card updates”:

8. Hover over a tile to see what it’s about
On the website, hover over a tile to see its topic. My first tile today was about Travel:

9. Answer honestly and pass the attention checks
Crowdtap has attention checks, so read every question. Don’t lie on screening questions to get into an action. The terms require truthful information, and Crowdtap can close your account for false answers.
10. Use one account and your real identity
Crowdtap allows only one account per person, and duplicate accounts lose all their points. You also can’t use aliases or anything else to hide who you are. It’s not worth the risk.
Cash Out at 1,000 Points
This isn’t about getting more actions, but it protects what you earn. Points expire 1 year after the end of the month you earned them, and Crowdtap can close accounts at any time. I cashed out a $5 Amazon gift card every time I hit 1,000 points.
Set a Reward Goal
In Rewards, you can set a goal to track your progress:

Pick your gift card, then the amount:

What I Don’t Do
To be transparent, I’ve never gotten product samples from Crowdtap. I stick to polls and surveys.
My Verdict: Can You Really Get More Actions on Crowdtap?
Yes. The biggest difference comes from a 100% complete profile and using both the app and the website. After that, log in every day, clear every tile, finish your In Progress actions and turn on text alerts.
Just set your expectations: even doing all of this, my max was about $30 a month.
